PT Telematika Mitrakreasi ternyata merupakan perusahaan joint-venture antara GMO Registry dan Corfina Capital Groups. Bagi mereka yang tidak mengenal Corfina, mereka adalah perusahaan di balik MicroAd yang baru saja diluncurkan dan juga Batavia Incubator. Keduanya, baik MicroAd dan Batavia Incubator bermitra dengan perusahaan Jepang, ternyata mereka memiliki niat yang kuat untuk membawa perusahaan-perusahaan teknologi Jepang ke Indonesia.
Mereka juga mengumumkan kemungkinan bagi perusahaan lokal untuk memiliki domain *. id mulai bulan Oktober 2011. Ini merupakan hal baru, karena pemerintah sejauh ini hanya membuka third level domain .id seperti .net.id, .ac.id, .go.id, .co.id, .web.id, dll. Saya sangat setuju dengan langkah ini, saya selalu berpikir bahwa third level domain tidak efisien dan terlalu banyak, sedikit sekali negara yang menerapkan third level domain, dan bahkan Singapura juga akhirnya memungkinkan second level domain untuk .sg.
