Twitter To Push Sales for Indonesia, Appoints Rick Mulia As Country Manager

Mumbrella Asia just reported that Twitter has officially appoints Rick Mulia, currently Chief Revenue and Sales at Wego, to hold position as Country Manager for Indonesia. Rick now still holds his position at Wego but will be expected to join Twitter full-time this November.

Before joining Wego, Rick holds key positions is companies like Microsoft, MSN South East Asia and also Yahoo!7. The Deakin University alum has been specialising on sales and revenue making, signalling Twitter's focus in Indonesia will also to work with advertisers and start to generate revenue, confirmed by Twitter representative just last month.

Just last month, Twitter confirms that it will set up its presence in the city dubbed as the capital city of Tweets. The plan itself was confirmed by Adam Brain, Twitter’s Global President of Revenue and Partnership, in an interview session with the Wall Street Journal (paid content).
