Telkomsel is Getting Serious in SME Segment by Launching myBusiness Store

Soon to add more solutions for digital marketing, management, and security

Telkomsel is getting serious to work on SME segment as the target market by launching a one-stop SME portal myBusiness Store. In this platform, there are digital solutions to solve any SME's issues from various providers.

The SME segment is seen as the company's next target to increase users. The IT consumption is predicted to keep rising, not less than any large corporation. The enterprise product contribution towards Telkomsel's retail products is expected to slowly increase.

Previously, the company focused on the middle to the upper segment as myBusiness users that has been running since 2004. In total, there are more than 20 thousand companies engaged with 2.4 million users.

"We're not yet targeting the lower middle segment in 2004, back then we thought they're still adequate with Telkomsel retail products such as SIM cards. However, two years ago we have begun to focus on this segment and finally launched the MyBusiness Store portal today," Arief Pradetya, Telkomsel's VP Enterprise Mobile Product Marketing said on Monday (7/23)

Before the portal was launched, SMEs which already myBusiness members realize the importance of using various productivity apps to support the business. However, the number of apps used require different site logins, making it difficult for users to manage the emails and passwords.

They often have difficulty in controlling the communication budget and managing the solution subscription methods for all employees. Regarding this problem, Telkomsel presents all the SME solutions to be directly purchased on the portal.

Includes in the offering solutions are special mobile communication for SMEs; Internet; email, storage, and collaboration; professional shop creation; online cashier; online accounting; employee management, and specific solutions such as clinic management with partners, from Microsoft, Google, Jarvis, Moka, Gadjian, Kofera, and TrustMedis.

Pradetya said in the future, the company will continue to seek partnership and create more opportunity for solution providers to present the services for SMEs. Furthermore, the additional solutions to be launched include digital marketing, management, and security.

myBusiness store provides a feature that allows SMEs to log-in to multiple single sign-on apps, therefore, users will no longer have to memorize the username and passwords of each app. They also provided with various payment methods, such as Halo Corporate card bill, a prepaid balance (Simpati, Kartu As, and Loop), or credit card.

"They can also perform package setting with the upgrade, downgrade, and service updates independently. Single billing is available, customers can control the budget for its employees accordingly."

In Pradetya's opinion, myBusiness Store is designed as an SaaS-based solution with Telkomsel connectivity, available within minimal amount, monthly billing, and easily operated without any complicated integration. It's accessible via myBusiness Store official site.
