Visio Incubator Announces 15 Selected Startups to Undergo Training
Their ambition to deliver a new unicorn by organizing comprehensive training program
Following their first debut for incubating startups in Indonesia, Sumatera in particular, Visio Incubator has announced 15 selected startups to undergo the incubation program session two. In this incubation program called “Visio Incubator Batch 2”, the selected startups will be trained for three months by national class mentors. The registration is already held for two months, from September 2017. There are 169 startups registered in this program.
“These top 15 startups are selected from 169 applicants coming from various regions in Indonesia. Through strict selection, the 15 startups will start their journey in the incubation program,” Visio Incubator's Co-founder & CEO, Hendriko Firman explained.
He also said, there are several assessment aspects such as problems to solve, the solutions offered, the impact presented, business model, traction, founder's profile, and their overall preparation. For intensive incubation, will be started in early next year.
After completing the incubation, selected startups will have to take part in “Demo Day and Date with Investor”; it is estimated to be held in April 2018. In Demo Day, they will get a chance to pitch in front of potential investors and stakeholders. On the other hand, chances for networking and obtaining funding from investor will be wide open.

To be able to prepare the best product-market fit startups having the signal to be a unicorn, it is necessary to give them basic program as the intensive incubation. These top 15 batch 2 startups are expected to grow as Go-Jek, Tokopedia, Traveloka, BukaLapak by being the next startup unicorn in Indonesia,” said Visio Incubator's Co-founder & CMO, Ogy Winenriandhika.
