Be Ready for Final Event of CHIP – Nokia Mobile Game Developer War

The series of events CHIP – Nokia Game Developer Camp and Developer War is entering final stage. Seminar, workshop, developer camp and developer war held in various cities like Jogja, Surabaya, Bandung and Jakarta will enter its final and closing event, on June 4, 2011.

Now it’s time for the final stage, 6 winners from Jogjakarta and Bandung will compete with 3 winners representing Jakarta and Indonesia to “go on a war” and present their game applications and a live coding with higher level of challenges and difficulties. The finalists will be competing for a grand total of Rp 60.000.000 prize. The final will be held at fX Lifestyle X’nter – Jakarta on June 4, 2011.

The event held by Nokia and CHIP and supported by Agate Studio already has 6 winners from Developer War at Jogja and Bandung, they are: School Escape (Yuandra Ismiraldi – Paramita Hapsari), Digibomb (Darrin Harly S – Saeful) a student of SMK Negeri I Cimahi, Defender Windvale (Raka Mahesa – Timotius Nugroho Chandra) – which name will most likely change to Bhineka Tunggal Ika after participating in Developer War in Jogja, Arjuna Sang Pemanah (Arjuna The Archer) (OMG – Rifauddin Tsalitsy Muh. Lathif Pambudi), Warung Ekspress (EnlightGamesStudio – Jeffrey Hermanto H. Alexander Rahardjo), Too Much Satay (Sate – Gelar Isnu Satria A. Wisnu Raditya).

To complete the 9 participants slot allotted for final stage, CHIP will conduct selection for 3 finalists to join final war stage. Selection is open for game developer from Jakarta and all around Indonesia, for FREE!

Selection registration will be opened until May 13, 2011. Those who passed the first stage selection will be announced by May 17, 2011. Second stage selection will be conducted on May 19, 2011.
