Traveloka is Testing New Restaurant Directory "Traveloka Eats"

Traveloka is trying out the "Traveloka Eats" feature to provide users with the whole experience while traveling. The new feature is currently available in Android version of Traveloka app.

Traveloka Eats is a restaurant directory service with voucher packages available in each destination. It also provides reviews, photos, along with the menu from each restaurant.

This feature completes the entertainment and utility products in Traveloka. Previously, ticket booking is available for cinema, beauty & spa, bill payment, also top-up balance & data.

Users can also make a reservation through phone numbers provided in the app, as it hasn't fully covered in the system. However, Traveloka provides thematic content to boost its transactions.

"The product is indeed our commitment to complete the travel journey of Traveloka customers. In this product, we offer deals and food directory. It is soon to be officially launched," Busyra Oryza, Traveloka's PR Manager, said to DailySocial (4/12).

Based on our observation, Traveloka Eats is currently available only for Android users in Jakarta with the limited choice of restaurants.

The interface of Traveloka Eats gives the similar ambiance with Zomato, Qraved, or Pergi Kuliner, exclude the voucher packages.

In addition, Traveloka was previously launched bus ticket booking feature that completing its services for all types of transportations.
