Gojek Acquires AirCTO, an India Based Recruitment Platform Developer

Gojek acquires startup from Bengaluru, India called AirCTO. After the acquisition, the whole team will join Gojek. The startup is known as an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based recruitment platform developer for high-quality talents.

"It's in line with Gojek's focus to hire premium talents to support the Super App," Gojek's representative said as quoted from YourStory.

"AirCTO has a great team and recruitment solution in automating recruitment for the best engineer. Our team is to focus on innovation on the recruitment process, specifically to develop and implement the technology solution to simplify the process," Gojek India's Managing Director, Sidu Ponnapa said.

AirCTO's Founder, Atif Haider stated the compatible side with Gojek and said his commitment to contribute for business development in Southeast Asia.

Currently, Gojek is one of the Indonesian startups with very rapid growth. Not only in its origin, but Gojek is also now trying out their luck in the Southeast Asia region, such as Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, and the Philippines.

In the journey, Gojek has made some strategic acquisitions to tighten its position. Either to expand the service segment or recruiting talents.
